Why Are the Democrats Helping Trump to Win?

Back in 2020, every once in a while, you’d hear something about how Joe was mixing up his words, or forgetting a name, or some other comment meant to raise doubts about his mental acuity.

But these comments all came from the Republican side. And because such talk is just typical of the partisanship with defines electoral narratives used by both parties, nobody took seriously any concerns about Joe Biden’s age.

It was also the case that we were in the midst of a Pandemic which was a threat far beyond the ability of Trump to control. Frankly, our side could have nominated Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck to head the 2020 ticket, and we still would have won.

This time around, however, the noise about Joe’s alleged unfitness to serve a second term is not just coming from the GOP. If anything, the pronouncements about Joe being too old and too brain-dead to run again are coming largely from our side.

In fact, not only are the Democrats doing the work of the GOP for them, but what they should be doing, which is reminding the voters that Trump is nothing but a crook, seems to be a message that the blue team has forgotten and is being totally ignored.
