Why Does Trump Win in Court?

So, today I watched four noisemakers on CNN discussing Trump-o’s testimony in the New York civil trial for fraud, and I found myself wondering how and why these so-called experts who are paid big bucks to explain politics to the rest of us dummies can get it so goddamn wrong.

What I’m referring to are the lamentations on Fake News about how support for Orange Shithead is actually increasing as he starts the whole trial megillah, which is obviously the reverse of what the anti-Trump contingent was hoping would occur.

The latest theory about why the Shithead’s numbers are better than Joe’s comes from Nate Cohn, the wunderkind political analyst who was an early predictor of Obama’s victory in 2008. This not only made him a macher in The (failing) New York Times newsroom, but also got him a snazzy website which is now owned by ABC-News.

Here’s what Cohn has to say about the latest NYT poll which shows Orange beginning to run ahead of Joe with minorities and kids: “this poll could represent an epochal shift in American politics, one with the potential to reverberate for decades as young and nonwhite voters make up a growing share of the electorate.”

And this was the transfixing moment for the CNN panel on the 12 Noon show, because they simply didn’t understand how these groups — nonwhites and kids — could support a guy who…
