Why Is Biden Being So Nice?

From the noise that these fucking, anti-Biden Democrats are making, you would think that Trump had a 20-point lead in the polls, that the election was next week, and it was going to be a wipeout of our side.

Meanwhile, after not only an admittedly poor debate performance and a daily announcement from some Democrat(ic) politician about how Joe should quit because disaster looms, Real Clear Politics, 270towin and 538.com, all give Trump between a two and four-point lead not only in all the ‘battleground’ states, but in the country as a whole.

And since the pollsters all submit to the idea that their numbers always contain what they refer to as a ‘margin of error’ of roughly 3%, the bottom line is that if Trump is really ahead in this campaign, his margin is so thin that it almost doesn’t exist at all.

I also thought that maybe the discomfort being felt by some Democrat(ic) officeholders about Joe’s campaign was due to the fact that these are incumbents who believe that a ticket headed by Joe will be a disaster for their particular contest.

In fact, according to 538.com, right now the so-called ‘generic ballot’ being used to determine the overall outcome of Congressional contests shows the Democrats with a tiny lead, 45.6% to 45.3%.
