Why Is Everyone So Pissed Off?

First take a look at this pic, which was the first official portrait of Obama after he was sworn in as President in 2009:

Now take a look of the first official portrait of his successor, who began his Administration in 2017:

If you don’t see the obvious difference, you’re blind.

Let’s remember, before I go into details about what the difference between those two pics means, that Trump was the lead actor in a reality-TV show which ran for nine years.

So, this is a guy who has a good sense of what playing to an audience is all about. Which is what his time in politics has been — creating a persona that will capture the crowd.

And that’s why Trump’s first official portrait has him looking at you with a very evident scowl. Because from the very first time he made a political speech in 2015 announcing his first run for President until whatever he said yesterday on the campaign trail, Trump is always pissed off about something or pissed off at someone, which is one and the same thing.

After all, if back in 2016 we were going to vote Trump into the Oval Office, it had to be because the Democrats had fucked the whole thing up. And to make his argument and his performance even stronger, the fuckedupness had been going on for a long time.
