Why Should the Democrats Make Deals With Republicans?

So, once again Donald Trump is shoveling the shit about how he won an overwhelming electoral victory, even though he lost the popular vote for the third straight time.

I simply don’t understand why the Fake News continues to give Trump coverage for every, stupid lie that he tells. After all, it’s not as if he has ever admitted he was wrong no matter how far from reality he puts himself just about every time he opens his mouth.

On the other hand, there’s a group of Republic(ans) out there who have lots of time over the last eight years trying to present themselves as some kind of rational, realistic and honest alternative to Trump, and some of them are now making the kinds of noise which is being read by our side as a welcome alternative to the incoming Administration, as well as potential allies in the fight ahead.

One of those so-called respectable Republic(ans) is William Kristol, who early on became a charter member of the Never Trump team and is now trying to remind other anti-Trumpers in the GOP that just because Trump is headed back to the White House, that this is no time to jump ship.
