Will RFK Jr. Make America a Healthier Place?

It occurs to me that for all the talk about how Donald Trump is going to institute an authoritarian rule over the United States and abolish the democratic system which has only been operating for 235 years, the real threat to our way of life will come from the man whose statements about his soon-to-be implemented agenda gets crazier and stupider every day.

I’m referring, of course, to RFK Jr., who believes he can make us a healthier nation by deciding what we can and cannot ingest in our bodies, as well as how we go about creating the basic human healthful profile in the first place.

As regards the latter issue, I’m referring of course to RFK’s expressed contempt for immunizations, a stance which puts him squarely in the population of this country which most of us believe are totally crazy, or totally stupid or both.

In my state — Massachusetts — a parent can refuse to get a child immunize, in which case that kid will spend his entire childhood at home, because he or she will not be allowed to attend any public or private school.

We had a guy who ran for Senate against Liz Warren in 2018 named Shiva Ayyadurai, who claimed that he invented email while he was earning a one of several degrees at M.I.T.
