Will Trump Ever Figure America Out?

So, this morning I did what according to Forbes was done by 100 million other people last July. I registered for Threads, which is the media alternative to X and picked up 100 million users when the app first went online last year.

The reaction against Elon Musk for endorsing Trump may also begin to have an impact on Tesla sales, particularly since electric cars are now being shipped by the American automakers to their dealer outlets so if you want to drive around without worrying about the price of gas, there’s plenty of competition out there.

But what the whole ta-ra-rum about Musk really indicates, as far as I’m concerned, is that no matter how much Trump and his diminishing band of noisemaking acolytes bitch and moan about how this country’s going down the drain, the bottom line is that the United States is an increasingly diverse society and that will only change because the country will become more diverse, not less.

Example: I’m watching the ‘Cops’ show on my DirecTV, and they have an ad for a mattress which allows you to adjust the hardness of the springs to give you a more comfortable night’s sleep. And the two actors, a man and a woman who are obviously sharing the bed every night happen to be a mixed-race couple — he’s black and she’s white.
