Will Trump Run in 2024?

I know it’s a long way from now until the next Presidential election, but if you think that the planning hasn’t started in earnest, then you don’t know what’s going on. Yesterday I received an email from a group called Truth & Courage, telling me to register for a May 21 ‘conservative activist summit’ where I can ‘revive our nation and take back our country in November.’

The get-together is being held at the Westin Buckhead in Atlanta, where I once spent a delightful weekend walking around the shopping mall across the street while my wife sat in the hotel studying for a medical certification exam. She studied, I spent money at the Billy Reid boutique — a good time was had by all.

All of a sudden, the POS/GOP has become an engine for truth. We have Trump’s Truth Social, which is a big nothing, and now we have Truth & Courage, which advertises itself as a PAC. According to Open Secrets, this PAC raised and gave out $400,000 and a bit more in 2014, then went out of business in 2015.

Guess who’s the headliner in the May 21st event? None other than Ted Cruz, who is obviously getting ready to run for President — again. He hasn’t made an official announcement yet. He’s being coy and saying that he’s ‘open’ to the idea. Gimme a break Ted, okay?

Who besides Ted is going to be telling the audience how they can take America back? So…
