Will Trump Win the Culture War?

So, today Trump announces that he’s goin g to cut federal funding to any school system which doesn’t eradicate DEI from its public-school curriculum. I’m assuming that you know what DEI means. If you don’t, just reference the picture above.

Anyway, this is yet another example of how Donld Trump continues to promote himself as the foremost exponent of ‘traditional’ American values which are being eradicated by George Soros and the Deep State.

Except the problem is that if the Fake News would do its job properly, we would be informed that this latest Oval Office ukase has little, if any consequence for American education.

Know this: If every dime the federal government sends to public school education were eliminated, the entire public-school budget would need to be increased by a whole, big five percent. Education has always been a primary responsibility of state and local governmental agencies, both in terms of what is taught and how that teaching is supported financially.

Ever hear of local property taxes? Duhhh…

Trump’s latest effort to win the culture war, if nothing else, will at least divert attention away from his plan to deport millions of criminals, terrorists and other no-goodniks which, in case you haven’t noticed, has yet to result in anything other than a federal judge…
