Will Trump’s 2024 Campaign Turn on the Racist Card?
Were it not for the fact that Trump has absolutely no thoughts about invading another country and increasing the geographical size of the United States, the idea of enlarging the homeland being a cardinal precept of Hitler’s governing stance, I would have to admit that indeed Trump is a Fascist in every other sense of that word.
And the reason I have now come around to that judgement, having denied Trump’s so-called Fascist tendencies for the last year or since whenever the debate about Trump being a Fascist initially broke out, is because of what he said in a Time Magazine interview published earlier this week.
His comments (slightly abridged) were as follows: “There is definite anti-white feeling in this country. The laws are very unfair right now.”
Trump was referring to a Biden Executive Order which requires federal agencies to determine whether people of color, and LGTBQ claimants can adequately access government programs, a directive that Trump says he will reverse. It turns out, by the way, that Biden’s Order also includes people living in rural zones, regardless of color or sexual orientation, but somehow this part of the directive was not mentioned by Trump.
The possible but not yet actual GOP Presidential candidate also said he would take away funding from any school…
