Trump & Santos: The Perfect GOP Ticket for 2024.

Back in October, I posted a story about how Trump and RFK, Jr. would make a perfect ticket. It went both on Medium and Substack.

Of course, the story was written tongue in cheek. But yesterday one of my readers suggested that instead of RFK, Jr., that Trump should put George Santos on the ticket as his V.P. And the more I think about it, the better I like the idea.

After all, it’s one thing to have a Presidential candidate under indictment. But what if both of them — President and Vice President — are facing jail time?

If nothing else, Trump should feel quite comfortable with Santos as his running-mate because, after all, getting indicted and convicted for some kind of flim-flam related to political activities seems to be a requirement for becoming a member of the Trump staff.

Back in 2022, Newsweek published a list of what they called ‘Trump allies’ who had been convicted or pleaded guilty to crimes. Ten names were on the list, including Roger Stone, Michael Cohen, Paul Manafort, Steve Bannon, and a bunch of others. With the exception of Cohen and a foreign-policy adviser named George Nader who got ten years for possessing child pornography and transporting a minor for sex, all the others were pardoned by Trump before he left office in 2021.
